Halloween Eve in ModCloth

I made my first ModCloth purchase which is a cute cotton dress celebrating Edgar Allan Poe; perfect for Halloween time.  My one complaint is that for a $90 dress, it should have been lined.  I became hooked on the cute crow/raven prints and the nod to the mysterious writer, so I gave this a try.  Hopefully my next purchase from them will have the quality of Anthropologie, like a nice lining under the garments.  Even a cheap one is better than nothing.

Dress: ModCloth Nevermore Lovely Dress.  Dress
Cardigan: Old August Silk from Ross.
Shoes: Jessica Simpson Leve flat
Ring:  Kenneth Jay Lane Wild Rose Ring in black.  From QVC

  1. This is so cute and festive! The print on that dress is gorgeous. Its subtle enough for everyday wear, but it's absolutely perfect for Halloween. How fun!

    1. Thank you Liz! I do agree that this dress is subtle since it is an all cotton dress. I will probably get more use out of it in the summer with espadrilles. But because the print is so unique with a literature theme, it would have been fun if it was a heavier fabric and as I said before, lined.
