Happy Easter

After trying these mauve tights out with a few spring dresses, I think they may be better suited for a fall/winter outfit.  I would have preferred bare legs on this one but I have not self tanned yet.  The weather has flipped flopped too much so if I can avoid slathering on the uncomfortable, thick cream, I will wait for the warmer weather.  Maybe there is a smoother tanning cream to be found.
Our decorations for Easter showed some generational differences.  My eight year old daughter put up one of her Monster High dolls to share time with one of my Barbies.

Dress: Erin Fetherston for Target.  Bunny dress from 2007.
Cardigan: J.Crew Jackie in neon pink. Older.
Shoes: Talbots Carlee pumps in pink patent leather, a few years old.
Necklace: Forever 21, two years old.

    1. Thank you Lisa. It is a cute dress for Easter and the bunny art work is nicely done. I should find out if Erin Fetherston drew them herself or did her team do it.
      Have a nice day,

  2. I like the tights how you wear them here. I cannot do tanner. I break out in hives.

Um, I want that dress! It is so, so, so good!

And that is the cutest friend picture your daughter posed! : )

    1. Thank you Jenni,
You have mastered the art of tights and use a lot of darker colors which really work well. A darker color with this dress may have worked better, maybe bring out one of the bunnies more. There are blue bunnies in the dress for example.
I can see you in this dress. Times like these call for Ebay!
      Have a great day,

  3. Love your easter look! I refuse to self tan anymore and am embracing my white tuna fish legs! I am not sure anyone else is but I do not care! Oh and that old time Barbie is incredible!

    1. Thank you Cynthia. Self tanning is a pain sometimes, especially when the weather fluctuates so much. I hate to slather it on the night before only to have it be cold the following day.
The Barbie has the old fashioned face but she is a contemporary Silkstone Barbie. They are a heavier weight and are made for collectors. But I do have some vintage ones as well.
      Have a great day,

  4. Thanks for this look at your Easter! That dress is darling. Perfectly suited to Easter! And I think you're rocking the mauve tights. I have a pair of pink tights myself, and they're so hard to wear without looking like I'm six, but I think you nailed it!

    1. Thank you Liz. I did find the mauve or pink tights tough. I still prefer the tan look but I have been too tired at night to slather on my self tanner. The bunny dress is cute and I'm glad that I am pulling out my oldie but goodies.
      Have a great day,
      Stacey
